Javeed Ahmed
After obtaining training at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ and King’s in Infection with a speciality in virology, followed by consultant medical virologist position at Public Health England (PHE, now UKHSA) between 2014-2018.
Currently, he is consultant virologist for Mid & South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, and consultant clinical lead for microbiology. Also, he is consultant virologist (10% of week) for Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
He has been the UK FRCPath Part 1 Lead microbiology/virology examiner 2019-2020. In addition. He teaches virology for medical students at Anglia Ruskin University, Essex.
